In support of Oregon Measure 92, farmers throughout the state joined together and drove our tractors across Portland’s Burnside bridge. While falling just short, the measure required revisions to labeling genetically-modified products. It was the state’s most expensive and hotly contested measure on record, with out-of-state opponents such as Monsanto and DuPont fighting against smaller, independent farms and families. Similar measures were on the ballots in Washington and California.
